| | | Badaboom Media Converter - For Windows Vista or XPFeatures INPUTS
Badaboom supports file inputs from digital camcorders in such formats as AVCHD and HDV as well as VIDEO_TS folders, non-protected DVD discs, video recorded from your television or content downloaded from the internet. These all use well-known compression algorithms (known colloquially as “codecs”) known as MPEG-2, and H.264. Over time Badaboom will add support for additional codecs.
OUTPUTS
The output files from Badaboom are designed to provide audio and video in a format that most portable media devices can accept. The H.264 baseline codec is coupled with 2 channels of stereo audio at bit rates and resolutions pre-optimized for your selected device. Of course it is always possible for the user to tune the pre-sets to their personal preference and a “Custom Media Center” output is provided to allow full customization of the settings.
FEATURES:
- Easy quality adjustment – A simple slider mechanism controls the quality of final image
- Efficiently use all of your PCs resources – Harness the GPU for transcoding while still being able to use the CPU for other tasks
- Auto-open converted files in iTunes – After transcoding is complete files can automatically be moved into iTunes for simple syncing
- DVD title selection and preview – Only transcode the titles you want
- Automatic up and down scaling – Input videos are scaled up or down to match your current output device settings
